CMP Procedure for Purchasing an M-1 Garand for Hawaii

Hey Folks,

Anyone know what the procedure is to get a CMP M-1 Garand here in Hawaii? I know you need the paperwork, but what is the shipping procedure? Does it get sent directly to you, or do you have to go through an FFL?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a CMP Garand last year. According to the documentation I could have received it directly, but I chose to send it to Ready on the Right and pay a transfer fee because I'm usually not home to receive a Fedex shipment. I checked with CMP and they do not charge extra for Fedex shipping to Hawaii.
