HB412, the .50 Caliber ban will not be heard this week.
SB 236, a form of Castle Doctrine, introduced by Sen. Mike Gabbard, is scheduled for 1:15 pm Thursday, Feb. 5, Room 229. It removes the current requirement in the criminal statutes that a victim retreat or give up property (like your wallet, jewelry, etc.) before the use of force is justifiable.
