Sir,

I'm a mainland IDPA competitor from Va and am making plans to at least spend part of my time in Hawaii. I generally compete about once a month in the regional and national matches on the mainland, but am distressed that there do no seem to be any IDPA or IPSC chapters or matches in Hi. Am I wrong about this? thanks...

IPDA has not successfully got off the ground as far as I know.

The really bad news is that you will need to register any firearm that you bring in from outside Hawaii within 72 hours of stepping foot into our state. Sorry.
